Department of Chemistry (CHEM)

Department of Chemistry

Welcome to URFMS-CHEM

Effective from 11 August 2026 (7:00 a.m.), the former ABCT URFMS has been restructured into two separate booking platforms:

Department of Chemistry (CHEM) – URFMS-CHEM

Department of Life Sciences (LS) – URFMS-LS

As part of this transition, equipment previously managed under ABCT-URFMS has been reassigned to either CHEM or LS and migrated to the respective new platforms. To facilitate data migration and prevent booking conflicts, please do not create new reservations in the "ABCT-URFMS" system on or after 11 August 2026 at 7:00 a.m.

Important Reminder

Any bookings required after this time must be made through the new platform AFTER 11 August 2026, 7:00 am

  • Both CHEM and LS users may continue to access and book eligible equipment through URFMS-CHEM and URFMS-LS.
  • All ABCT-URFMS users have been granted access to both URFMS-CHEM and URFMS-LS from 11 August 2026.
  • Equipment bookings will continue to be free of charge for both CHEM and LS users.
  • Existing payment source accounts will remain valid on both platforms.
  • Users should ensure they select the correct system (URFMS-CHEM or URFMS-LS) when making bookings after the transition

Thank you for your cooperation during this transition. Please check the appropriate platform for equipment availability and booking.
